About The Opportunity
Lead SC (Supply Chain) Projects aimed at developing and continuously improving the planning and execution of material and information flow processes and efficient utilization of available capacities and resources, in a safe environment and in order to meet customer demand, enhance material flow and optimize inventory.
Work with Program Management for new model launch and associated KPI’s. Provide CRS (Capacity Uplift Study) cost analysis to support NBA (New Business) ,Execute Divisional and Product Line SC Strategy. Work with customers to resolve conflict on delivery with respect to new model MRD (Material Requirement) dates
Lead the SC Team providing business support in deploying, executing and improving the SC excellence strategy and model through targeted Continuous Improvement Projects.
Activity Management: Project Management
Contribute to build business case with clear deliverables of SC Key projects to deliver the roadmap to achieve excellence in SC taking into account Risk Management
Lead CRS studies for all NBA program’s from an SC perspective and lead all SC related costs like packaging/Inventory holding costs/warehousing cots to be considered in the CRS studies
Approve and review PF costs related to new model launches and associated reimbursements
Review Customer releases periodically for increases above contract volumes
Create, maintain and govern the execution of Project Plans
Lead SISCA (Safety in supply chain area) initiatives for USCVJ
Work with Program managers to review new model launch and processes to support launch dates
Support and Coordinate NBA (New Business) process SC responsibilities
Provide update in timely manner (KPIs, Project plans and reporting) and escalate where appropriate
Responsible for delivering Projects within agreed timescale and costs including:Internal Flow & Warehousing, Transport, Packaging and Distribution, Master Production Planning, Capacity Planning, SIOP, Material Requirement Planning/Vendor Scheduling, Shop floor inventory control, Distribution Requirement Planning, Inventory Management, Product Life cycle Management
Support Business Process modeling, Value Stream Mapping
IT/Solutions Projects: ERP, SC Solutions
Support and improve Supply chain excellence projects.
Maintain, manage and communicate results as per defined project KPIs and project governance.
Review and provide Updates to senior management on all Red/Yellow program status for all new model launches as It pertains to SC.
Apply PDCA approach, use A3 appropriately in case of deviation to plan to ensure successful project delivery and sustainability

Qualification and Skills
APICS CPIM certified or equivalent
Specific Functional Capabilities, Knowledge and Skills Required
Track records and functional expertise in one or several of the following key SC areas: Internal Flow & Warehousing, Transport, Packaging and Distribution, Master Production Planning, Capacity Planning, SIOP, Material Requirement Planning/Vendor Scheduling, Shop floor inventory control, Distribution Requirement Planning, Inventory Management, Product Life cycle Management. Graduate are a possibility.
Ideal candidate has the capability to work autonomously in a large, regional network ensuring the key issues faced in the short, mid, and long term demand horizons are properly vetted and documented allowing the business to take fast action to address issues. This includes direct contact with program managers, program launch teams, customers, suppliers and GKN production facilities. The candidate must have / develop a deep command of the program launch process (inputs, process, decisions, key stakeholders, timelines, supplier risk, production risk and results of prior performance)
