About The Opportunity

Within Fokker Landing Gear, On Time in Full (OTIF) delivery is imperative. It is essential that the complete order fulfilment process is carefully planned, and that this planning is maintained in such a way that customer demand is matched with our supply capabilities.

To achieve this, Fokker Landing Gear is looking for a Supply Chain Master Planner.

As Supply Chain Master Planner you create, maintain and manage a realistic and achievable supply plan that meets customer demand.

In this central position you are part of the Supply Chain Management team and you report to the Director Logistics of Fokker Landing Gear.

Key Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Making of a demand plan, in weekly buckets, based on customer forecast and orders;

  • Making sure that demand covers cumulative lead time + 2 months, escalate when needed;

  • Analyzing and accepting customer demand, resulting in achievable delivery dates;

  • Creating an optimal and smooth Master Schedule, making optimal use of committed resources;

  • Making constraints visible and initiate gap closing actions within all functions of the organization;

  • Focussing on OTIF while optimizing lead times and working capital;

  • Ensuring the Master Schedule is properly put into the ERP system (BaaN) to drive production and procurement activities;

  • Monitoring the integral Supply Chain progress (purchasing, production and sales delivery);

  • Keeping the Master Schedule continuously up to date;

  • Defining, measuring and reporting the scheduling adherence in a simple dashboard;

  • Working together with the IPT, Operations and Procurement to optimize the logistical flow, performance improvements and expected supply/demand;

  • Managing phasing product life cycles together with Program Support Officers;

  • Initiating new Supply Chain concepts and inventory strategies, in order to continuously improve our order fulfillment capabilities.

Your skills and competences are:

To be successful in this role;

  • You have a relevant HBO/HBO+ education (SCM/Logistics, Business Administration), plus at least 3-5 years working experience;

  • You have a pro-active attitude;

  • You like to find the optimal logistic plan and process with excellent analytical skills;

  • You have a continuously drive to improve the logistical processes;

  • You can deal with time pressure and knows how to achieve the primary goals;

  • You have knowledge of Baan/ERP system, logistical processes and concepts;

  • You have excellent computer skills;

  • You are English speaking.
